Privacy Policy

LIFESuite is case management software for elder law firms, provided by Cornerstone Software, LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect through this website and the LIFESuite app, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Information we collect

From this website. When you use the Contact us form, we receive your name, firm, email address, phone number (if given), your timeframe, and any comments. This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics.

From staff who use LIFESuite. Each firm invites its own staff. For each person we keep their name, email address, user name, role, access level, an optional photo, and sign-in records needed to keep accounts secure.

From Microsoft and Google sign-in. If your firm signs in with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, we receive only your name, email address and an account identifier, and use them only to sign you in. We do not read your email, files or contacts.

Calendar access (optional, later). If your firm chooses to connect its calendars, LIFESuite asks for that permission separately and uses it only to create and keep appointments in step with LIFESuite.

Client information your firm enters. Information about your firm’s clients belongs to your firm. We hold it only to provide LIFESuite to your firm and never use it for any other purpose.

Google user data

LIFESuite’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or let people read it except to provide support you ask for, for security, or as the law requires.

How we use information

• To reply to your enquiry.
• To provide, secure and support LIFESuite for your firm.
• To send account emails such as invitations, password resets and security notices.

We never sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only as described here:

• Service providers. Companies that host and run LIFESuite for us: data storage and sign-in, website hosting, email delivery, and spam protection. They may use the information only to provide their services to us, under their own security and confidentiality commitments. A current list is available on request.
• Sign-in providers. Microsoft or Google, when your firm chooses to sign in with them.
• Your firm. Your firm’s LIFESuite administrators can see the staff accounts and information in your firm’s LIFESuite.
• Legal requirements. When the law, a court order or legal process requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and security of LIFESuite, our customers or others.
• Business transfers. If Cornerstone Software, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction and will remain protected by this policy.

How we protect it

Each firm has its own separate database. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, Social Security numbers are encrypted with restricted access, every sign-in requires LIFESuite’s own two-step verification, access is by invitation only, and idle sessions sign out automatically.

Cookies

The LIFESuite app uses only the cookies it needs to work: keeping you signed in, remembering your firm, a trusted browser (if you choose it), and your light or dark setting.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to follow up. Your firm’s data is kept while your firm uses LIFESuite; when a firm leaves, we provide an export and then delete its database.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete information about you. Staff should contact their firm’s LIFESuite administrator; anyone else can email us. LIFESuite is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
